Is that an old PNR railway? We used to take 13 hour trips to Bicol on those old lumbering hunk of steel when I was a kid. But for the life of me I can't remember if we passed by that town.Happy New Year to you and your family, pre.
I'm sure you did pass by Hondagua on the way to Legazpi. Trains stopped passing through it over a decade (or two) ago. Nowadays those ingeniously , and indigenously, made "skates" ply the routes that used to be for exlusive use of those gigantic steel giants on wheels.

we have a problem with conservation and preservation of culture. the railway's one of them.i hope it gets reconnected in our lifetime.
